Welcome to my web site!

After witnessing governmental waste, fraud, and abuse in my home county of Anoka, I decided to get involved by starting a web site to expose this waste.  In 2005, “The Anoka County Watchdog” was launched with little more than a computer, a small budget, and a burning desire to give taxpayers in Anoka County a resource to keep government accountable.

Little did I realize that 5 short years later my web site would become the leading source of news and governmental information in Anoka County, much to the delight of beleaguered taxpayers and much to the chagrin of many politicians.

In that same spirit, I have launched this web site.  My intent is to provide you, the taxpayer, with the information you need to keep your federal, state, and local politicians accountable in every county, city, and township in this great state.

The only true bulwark against governmental excess is an informed and active citizen.  Thus, I hope you will contribute to this web site as much, or more, than I do.  It is designed to be a forum where concerned citizens across the state can share news, information, and ideas to return Minnesota to the bedrock principles of limited government and free enterprise.

Sincerely,

Harold E. Hamilton
